DlCaM2
Calmodulins (CaM) are two typical calcium receptor proteins in plants, consisting of 148 amino acids, thermally stable and acidic (isoelectric point at 3.9-4.3), with four EF-hand conserved structural domains, capable of binding to four calcium ions.CaM, as a calcium receptor protein, can activate a series of target proteins by binding calcium ions to form a complex that regulates plant growth and gene expression. CaM, as a calcium receptor protein, regulates plant growth and developmental processes and gene expression. he plays a negative regulatory role in the GABA synthesis branch, and silencing CaM gene expression can lead to elevated GABA content.
