DlGAD5
Glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) is a key rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis pathway of the inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which plays an important function in plant cellular adversity defense, nitrogen storage, hormone synthesis, and growth and development. When plants are subjected to external environmental stimuli (e.g. mechanical damage, drought, frost, etc.), intracellular H+ or Ca2+ levels increase, which in turn leads to the activation of GAD and a significant increase in GABA content
