trp-induce (detection circuit of tryptophan)
This part is used to detect the concentration of tryptophan in the environment. A reporter gene (sfGFP) are contained in the part, following a inducible promoter trpP and leader peptide CDS trpL. With the present of trpR, the expression of sfGFP can be inhibited by high concentration of tryptophan. trpL, as the repressor, can further inhibit the expression of downstreaming genes. As a consequence, the intensity of sfGFP fluorescence decreases with the increase of tryptophan concentration.
