CkTcS enzyme

In the degradation of caffeine, two key processes include C8 oxidation and N9-methylation. CkTcS possesses novel N9-methyltransferase activity using 1,3,7-trimethyluric acid as a substrate. The intermediate product is converted to theacrine, catalyzed by CkTcS. This part is the coding sequence of CkTcS.
