AgrA

As the response regulator in the two-component signal transduction system (TCST) of Staphylococcus aureus, AgrA will be phosphorylated by AgrC that bounds to AIP previously.The activated AgrA can specifically bind to the upstream of promoter P2 and P3 and activate both of them, thus regulating the transcription and expression of agr related genes.
