bjGFP

A green fluorescent protein variant that has been codon-optimized for B.diazoefficiens and is stable. The excitation and emission maxima for bjGFP are 497nm and 509nm[1].CAU_China proved that this variant of gfp can work in C. glutamicum as well, suggesting that it can serve as a second choice in other chassis when gene resources are limited.
