ConA

BBa_K3788006 sequence is coding for ConcanavalinA (ConA), a glycoprotein able to interact with enveloped viruses. This interaction is more efficient if ConA is in multimer. The interaction is shown in tetramer and in dimer. To have the well dimer formation, a linker was created. Concanavalin A_Linker is an intermediate construction of conA_linker_conA because cause of the redondance of senquence it is not possible to buy the full sequence. 6His_conA_linker_conA have a 6his tag in Nter to allow to purified proteins; and allow the detection and specific identification by WesterBlot. Thus to create this part we used the sequence of BBa_K3788005 and added conA sequence and a restriction site, this is a cicatrice from SLIC cloning strategy. Sequence was optimised for E. coli K12.
