Part:BBa_K3772009
ZWF1 promoter from S. cerevisiae
ZWF1(BBa_K3772009) is a promoter that cloned from a coding sequence of enzyme that involved in Pentose Phosphate pathway.
The fermentation results and corresponding yield of valencene when ZWF1p is transferred into the S. cerevisiae are shown below.
The optimal promoters in each pathway were screened to investigate the relationship between glucose concentration, ethanol concentration and valencene yield with the extension of fermentation time, the results are shown in the figure below.
The next figure shows the fermentation results and corresponding yield of valencene when ZWF1p is transferred into the S. cerevisiae, from which we know that PDC1p was not expressed during 0-32h, and was not high in the later period (32-56h).
To further investigate and compare the 4 promoters, specific production rate of product is evaluated, and it shows that ZWF1p function as the lowest activity promoter that is responsible for production of prophase.
CDC19:
The fermentation results and corresponding yield of valencene when CDC19p(BBa_K3772015) is transferred into the S. cerevisiae are shown below.
Electrophoretic images are also shown below, and the second lane represents CDC19p
ENO1 :
The fermentation results and corresponding yield of valencene when ENO1p(BBa_K3772016) is transferred into the S. cerevisiae are shown below.
Electrophoretic images are also shown below, and the twelfth lane represents ENO1p
PDC6:
The fermentation results and corresponding yield of valencene when PDC6p(BBa_K3772017) is transferred into the S. cerevisiae are shown below.
Electrophoretic images are also shown below, and the sixth lane represents PDC6p
