alpha pinene oxide lyase promoter
The alpha-Pinene oxide is an intermediate in the degradation of alpha-pinene(an organic compound of the terpene class, one of two isomers of pinene) that is an intermediate that is cleaved by a lyase in Pseudomonas rhodesiae. This lyase is coded by the gene where this promoter belongs. The gene expression is induced indirectly by the compound alpha-Pinene, so for this part we isolated the promotor of this gene in order to obtain promoter that will allow the expression of our genes of interest by the presence of alpha-Pinene. This promotor should only be used in Pseudomonas putida since this organism have the pathway for alpha-Pinene degradation.
