cDNA encoding the anti microbial peptide Ec-AMP-D1

cDNA encoding the antifungal peptide Defensin Ec-AMP-D1. It has a proven inhibitory activity towards several fungus or oomycetes pathogenic to plants. The half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) was ranging between 8.5 to 100 ug/ml [1].

The protein contains 4 disulfide bridges, which may be problematic in bacterial expression.
