Usage and Biology
The N-terminal leader peptide, called, PhDsbA is used for periplasmic secretion (1, 2). It was reported that PhDsbA allow the successful translocation of a heavy-chain antibody fragment into the periplasmic space of Pseudoalteromonas haloplanktis TAC125 (1, 2). Our team will use this part for periplasmic secretion of AFPs when expressing in Pseudoalteromonas nigrifaciens.
