aeBlue blue chromoprotein
aeBlue is a blue chromoprotein obtained from the basal disk of a beadlet anemone Actinia equina. The protein has an absorption maximum at 597nm and a deep blue color. The part is flanked by Acc65I and AscI cut sites, which allows it to bind to the N or C terminus of the protein depending on our experimental goal.
