Linker peptide KKKKS

This part can be used as a linker for protein fusion in yeast. Its nucleotide sequence is aagaagaagaagtcc. Its codon has been optimized based on Codon Usage frequency in highly expressed genes of yeast (Figure 1). We designed this part to fuse the first 124 amino acids of Clb2 and Cas9.


Usage

This part can be used in the fusion of two proteins in yeast. To fuse two proteins, one can add this part between his sequences by designing primers containing the sequence of this part.
