T7 RNA polymerase for Type IIS standard (RFC1000)
This part is the T7 RNA polymerase (BBa_I716103) adapted to the Type IIS iGEM assembly standard by removal of the ATG start codon. The start codon ATG is included in the scar between RBS element and coding sequence element, when the Type IIS standard is used.
Natural inhibitor of the T7 RNA polymerase is the T7 lysozyme. Combinations of these two elements might be used for creating of tightly regulated inducible systems.
