TXO Fluoride riboswitch regulated iSpinach construct under Anderson Promoter (BBa_J23119)

Fluorescent RNA aptamer construct flanked by F30 tRNA scaffolds to protect it from degradation. Its transcription is repressed by the FLuoride riboswitch. Upon addition of the fluoride, the riboswitch allows the E.coli sigma 70 polymerase to transcribe the construct, resulting in green fluorescence if the DFHBI fluorophore is added.


Usage and Biology

Can be used in cell-free systems as a biosensor.
