Overview

A secondary RNA structure, the riboswitch is a transcriptional regulator which acts with cyclic-di-GMP to terminate transcription. This termination is dependant on the terminator loop acting with the ligand (cyclic-di-GMP). In the absence of this terminator loop, transcription is unregulated by the riboswitch deeming it redundant. This part includes a truncation (20 bp) which removes the terminator-loop sequence from part [BBa_K3151009].
