Summary:We optimized this part through the deletion of 9bp in front of the start codon, which finally made the coding sequence starts with 'ATG". And we successfully characterized the this part (with slightly improved sequenced) in C.elegans.

Documentation:We submit this optimized GFP as our part BBa_K2492000[1]. We constructed a str-1::Chrimson::GEMgeco::GFP fusion plasmid and injected it into C.elegans. We used cell-specific promoter str-1 to enable the expression of GFP in neuron AWB, and the reporter GFP could indicate the AWB location. How did we fulfilled the characterization? We have done lots of tests on these tans gene C.elegans so as to characrize this part and we finally achieve our goal.
