DENV3 C (Capsid Protein | Dengue Virus Serotype Ⅲ)
Usage and Biology
Flavivirus capsid (C) is a structural protein responsible for gathering the viral RNA into a nucleocapsid that forms the core of a mature virus particle.
Mature DENV capsid is a highly basic protein of 12 kDa that forms homodimers in solution with affinity for both nucleic acids and lipid membranes. The 100-residue monomer contains 26 basic amino acids and only 3 acidic residues.
Characterization
The sequence is derived from native dengue virus and optimized for Homo Sapiens using IDT Codon Optimization Tool. Our team checked the sequence length of synthesized oligo DNA and characterized it.
As shown in Figure 1, the band of DENV3 C come around 300 bp.
Analysis
Our team successfully validated that the sequence of DENV1 C was synthesized, and obtained enough amount of it for transfection.
If it works well in the process of pseudo-virus production and also infection into host cells as expected, the fluorescence intensity can be observed robustly.
