DecS134C codon optimized for E.coli
DecS134C is a mutated form of a protein originally from the phage L genome. It forms a trimer dimer when presented with protein nanocompartments as seen in previous literature [1]. The mutation of serine to cysteine causes the interactions between the other DecS134C which causes connections of dimers that can form higher order structures[1]. This part is optimized for expression in E.coli and has a hexahistidine tag on the N-terminus for purification.
