Green Fluorescent protein (GFP) with Anionic tag
GFP is a fluorescent protein that is derived from jellyfish. As a proof of concept for transfection or transformation applications using Protein nanocompartments (http://2018.igem.org/Team:Lethbridge) an anionic tag was added onto the C-terminus of the protein to aid encapsulation[1]. As well, a hexa-Histidine tag was added onto the N-terminus for purification purposes. This part is also codon optimized for expression in E.coli.
