3G pLac/ara-1
pLac/ara-1 dual input promoter in a 3G-compatible form, flanked by sticky end A and suffix sticky end B in a 3G-compatible backbone. For more information on 3G hybrid DNA assembly and 3G parts, see the [http://2018.igem.org/Team:William_and_Mary/Part_Collection William and Mary 3G Parts Page].
Repressed by LacI and activated by arabinose/AraC. Intended for use in oscillator creation. Sequence originally from Lutz and Bujard 1997; later used for the creation of oscillator from Stricker et al 2008.1,2 Note that the upstream LacO site is required for functional repression via LacI (tetrameter) [See Stricker et al 2008 supplement].
