ZrFPS1 is derived from Zygosaccharomyces rouxii.
ZrFPS1 encodes a putative glycerol transporter and inhibit its efflux. Glycerol works as a conpatible solute, so they are expected to work for increase the osmotic torelance and salt one.[1]
