HmtA
HmtA (heavy metal transporter A) is a P-type ATPase, importing Zn(II) and Cu(II) ions from the periplasm into the cytoplasm using ATP. Contains the coding sequence (CDS). This part fulfills the same function as HmtA from iGEM Groningen 2009 (BBa_K190018), but is not from the Pseudomonas aeruginosa genome, but the homologue gene from Pseudomonas brassicacearum. Also it does not contain a PstI restriction site.
