This part is made of a His tag followed by the sequence coding for the synthetic anti-dengue peptide DN59. It mimics the membrane interacting, amphipathic stem region of the dengue virus envelope (E) glycoprotein, and works by making holes on the virus' envelope, leading to the release of its RNA.

This protein is followed in this construct by a HlyA tag sequence for targeting by the T1SS of Escherichia coli.
