AcrR Generator
A production circuit for the transcriptional regulator AcrR. AcrR is a transcriptional repressor in E. Coli responsible for regulating the AcrAB-TolC efflux pump. It's primary purpose is to mediate expression of non-specific RND efflux pumps; conferring susceptibility to antibiotics through repression of AcrAB-TolC. Additionally, it has been shown there is significant cross-talk between AcrR and the Mar-Sox-Rob regulon.
