Rob Generator
A production circuit for inducible expression of transcriptional regulator Rob. Rob is a transcriptional regulator in E. Coli responsible for regulating >60 chromosomal genes. It's primary purpose is to mediate expression of non-specific RND efflux pumps; conferring resistance to antibiotics and organic solvents through increased expression of AcrAB-TolC. Rob is a significant actor in the Mar-Sox-Rob regulon. Contains EcoRI and PstI in the coding sequence.
