CpxR-TEV + araC/pBAD promoter

TEV protease is fused to response regulator [1] using a long flexible Linker . It is used to visualize activation of the Cpx pathway based on the CpxA-CpxR protein-protein interaction. Upon pathway activation, CpxR and CpxA interact after which TEV will cleave off eYFP[1-154]-nLeucine Zipper or eYFP[155-238]-cLeucine Zipper, which are fused to CpxA via the TEV cleavable linker. eYFP can then reassemble in the cytoplasm.
