DEFINITION Phyla dulcis geraniol synthase (GES),we optimized the codon to suitable for E.coli, and avoid several restriction enzyme cutting sites(EcoRⅠ, XbaⅠ, SpeⅠ, PstⅠ,BamHⅠ, HindⅢ, KpnⅠ, NocoⅠ, NdeⅠ, NotⅠ, SalⅠ, XhoⅠ)

PdGES stands for Phyla dulcis geraniol synthase (GES) mRNA which is an enzyme which bolsters the production of geraniol. Through the MVA or DXP pathway, Geranyl Diphosphate (GPP) can be produced. Then PdGES helps convert GPP to geraniol.
