Sensynova Framework (IPTG Detector + Connector 1A (complete) - dCell)

The part BBa_K2205009 was designed as Detector unit of the Sensynova multicellular framework for biosensors development(Figure 1), specifically sensing IPTG.

In vivo Qualitative Comparison

The device BBa_K2205009 has been characterised in a co-culture test using the 3 cell types (detectors:processors BBa_K2205012:reporters BBa_K2205015) inoculated at ratio 1:1:13 , growth and fluorescence were monitored after induction with IPTG 1mM. Our in silico simulation predicted to adopt a higher concentration of the reporter culture compare with the detector and processor. Thus, the framework test was carried out in ratio 1:1:13 together with the more traditionally used ratio 1:1:1(both shown in the Figure 2).
