This part regulates the expression of antitoxin ydcD by adding or removing 3-oxo-dodecanoyl homoserine lactone (3O-C12-HSL). LasR is a transcription factor and is constitutively expressed. It can couple with 3O-C12-HSL and activate pLas, thus producing antitoxin.
