pEXPR TRE: L7Ae
This part is L7Ae under Dox-inducible promoter TRE. L7Ae can regulate the expression of a gene by binding to k-turns on its mRNA transcript, so this plasmid allows to externally modulate the expression of a gene by controlling the level of L7Ae expression with the added concentration of doxycycline. This part can be used to make biological circuits tunable externally, which can make these circuits more easily controllable and thus more safe to use.
