PETase

This part encodes for an enzyme based on one found in Ideonoella sakaiensis that has the ability to break down the plastic polyethylene terephthalate into monomers without the need for energy input. The protein produced has a poly histadine domain for easy purification which is cleaveable by the TEV protease.
