Introduction

A GFP gene was fused to the novel Histamine-Tar chemoreceptor (BBa_K1992011). The plasmid is comprised of a promoter, a native RBS (BBa_K1992000), the novel Histamine-Tar chemoreceptor (BBa_K1992011), a GFP gene and a terminator. In addition, a proper linker ought to be introduced in order to ensure the right correct fold of the protein.

Usage and Biology

This expression device was used as a proof of concept in order to verify the migration of the novel chemoreceptor to the poles of the bacterial membrane.

Experiments and results
