This part is a composite built from BBa_K1966000 and BBa_K1966001. Part contains Pseudomonas putida xylA and xylM (xylene monooxygenase) with xylB (benzyl alcohol dehydrogenase). Used for conversion of methyl groups on toluene and its derivatives to aldehyde groups for generation of aromatic aldehydes.
