BolA

Usdage and Biology

BolA is a gene that controls the morphology of Escherichia coli in the stress response [1]. By overexpressing this gene at 37°C, naturally rod-shaped E. coli cells will become spherical [2]. This biobrick contains the coding sequence of bolA, which is a subpart of BBa_K1890030 and BBa_K1890030. It does not exist individually.
