It is an integrated device which could expressing the enzyme leucine dehydrogenase.The strength of RBS BBa_B0030 is strong.Leucine dehydrogenase is from Bacillus,Clostridia and Corynebacterium.Leucine dehydrogenase is an oxidoreductase which specifically acts on the CH-NH2 group of donors with NAD+ or NADP+ as acceptor.The enzyme's substrates are L-Leucine, H2O, and NAD+ and its products are 4-methyl-2-oxopentaoate,NH3, NADH, and H+.
