MoClo 'tesA

'tesA is a leaderless thioesterase gene - it is targeted to the cytosol instead of the periplasm, as native tesA is. It catalyzes the production of free fatty acids from acyl-ACP. This is useful when engineering pathways that require free fatty acids as an input, such as producing biodiesel if 'tesA is coupled with fadD.
