CsgC

CsgC prevents CsgA proteins from self-assembling inside the cell. CsgA is a protein monomer which can aggregate to form amyloid nanowires in natural biofilms of E.coli (Barnhart & Chapman 2010).

csgC is used in the biobricks:

The first three parts contain CsgC with a low constitutive promoter (BBa_J23110), a medium constitutive promoter (BBa_J23118) and a high consitutive promoter (BBa_J23100), respectively.

The other three parts contain both CsgC and CsgB. These induced are by a low constitutive promoter (BBa_J23110), a medium constitutive promoter (BBa_J23118) and a high consitutive promoter (BBa_J23100), respectively.
