Circuit injected in Streptococcus mutans that allows S.m. yield N-Acyl homoserine lactone.
This circuit mainly contains luxI gene which stands for AHL synthetase coding sequence. AHL is the communicator signal we adopt to connect Streptococcus mutans and Escherichia coli with S.m. killing gene. While the chemical signal AHL is successfully generated, the killing gene(Endolysin coding sequence) inside E.coli would be triggered and begins to destruct the cell wall of our target harmful germ, Streptococcus mutans.
