IPTG-GFP MutL

The nonmutated, wild-type MutL gene cloned into the IPTG-GFP plasmid for characterization of mutation rate, verification of fucntionality, etc. MutL, long with MutS and MutH, initiates repair cascade by recognizing base mismatches/indels of up to 4 bp (dam-directed mismatch repair). It requires the mutation E32K to gain its active dominant negative mutagenic form.
