Cons. promoter, RBS, TetR and a double terminator

The tetracycline repressor (TetR) expressed using a constitutive promoter. TetR represses transcription on binding to the p(TetR) promoter Part:BBa_R0040. [http://openwetware.org/wiki/ATc ATc (anhydrotetracycline)] binds to the Tet repressor inhibiting its function and hereby releasing the repression on the Tet promoter. [1]

Usage and Biology

In addition to ATc (anhydrotetracycline), dox (Doxycycline) can also be used as inducer. [2]
