cAMP receptor protein (CRP) mutant

Escherichia coli CRP protein is a cAMP-activated global transcription factor. CRP protein binds cAMP and leads to the activation of transcription of more than one hundred promoters. This protein enhances the possibility of RNA polymerase holoenzyme binding and initiating transcription. The mutation should allow an overexpression of CRP.
