UB33
Urease epitope UB33 is a peptide derived from the catalytic site of beta subunit of H. pylori urease. Urease is an important pathogenicity factor for H. pylori since it enables the bacteria to breakdown of urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide, thus artificially buffering the acidic enviroment in the stomach.
