UV promoter + Key (taRNA)
The UV promoter is an inducible promoter that responds to exposure to UV radiation. This promoter controls the expression of the ccdB gene. ccdB is a toxin that inhibits the function of DNA gyrase and interferes with helicase activity. As a result, processes such as DNA replication and RNA transcription are hindered, ultimately causing cell death.
