Pdes-CheY
This biobrick contains the B. subtilis CheY under the promoter of Des (location of promoter see ref. [2]).
CheY is involved in chemotaxis. Phosphorylated CheY interacts with FliM and FliY to cause counterclockwise rotation, which is necessary for the swimming behaviour of the bacteria [1].
The promoter of des is a indirect cold inducible promoter in the desRK system. The temperature switch is at 25°C and 37°C [3].
