SilkTail Stop-codon

This BioBrick contains the coding sequence for part of the MaSp2 spider silk protein C terminal domain (SilkTail) and ends with a stop codon.

The SilkTail sequence has been optimized in order to match the translation rate between Bacillus subtilis and Argiope aurantia.

The SilkTail is part of the C terminal domain of MaSp2 spider silk.
