This is one half of the sender-receiver device for the modified promoters. The device used AI-I and AI-2 signaling molecules to transmit information between cells. ****After several attempts of building the entire construct, the ligation failed. We strongly believe this is the result of having 4 double terminators in one device. The hairpins in the dna allow for recombination and deletion by naturally occurring enzymes in e. coli.****
