{phi80-att} phage integration site
Plasmids containing the phi80 att site can be recombined into the E. coli genome with the aid of the phi80 integrase protein. Usually, this is expressed from a helper plasmid. See PMID: 11591683 for details. In house, this part is referred to as pBca9145-Bca1183 {Phi80-att}.
This part is in BBb Format. It is flanked by BamHI and BglII sites instead of XbaI and SpeI. More information about the BBb Format is available at:
