sbpa (a protein that forms crystals in the presence of calcium)

Sbpa is a tetrameric protein that forms crystals in the presence of calcium. In the native state it forms crystals on the outside of the bacterial strain Bacillus sphaericus. In vitro it can be crystallized on many surfaces and the c terminal sequence can be modified to diplay crystals or materials binding domains.
