Arabinose -> LacI ts -| GFP

When induced by arabinose, temperature-sensitive LacI (LacI ts) will be produced. LacI has both a dimer and tetramer form. These forms are in equilibrium and this equilibrium can be shifted with heat. As more LacI ts tetramer is formed, pLac will be repressed, thus producing less green fluorescent protein (GFP).
